The proposal:
- 180 homes of which 72 will be affordable across two buildings of 12 and 18 storeys
- 20 storey commercial building next to the new Oriel Hospital
- refurbishment and extension of the workhouse buildings (East and West Wings and Residence building) to provide commercial uses including affordable workspace and community uses
- refurbishment of the South Wing for continued NHS services and medical uses
- refurbished Gatehouse building
- five public spaces and landscaping
- retail units including food and beverage uses
- demolition of 6 buildings, retention of 5 buildings and erection of 3 new buildings.
