The proposal:
- Redevelopment of the existing BT Tower site to a hotel led development with ancillary uses.
- Refurbishment and upgrade of the Grade II listed tower and unlisted podium; creation of a publicly accessible square at ground floor, new routes through the site with associated retail, restaurant and event uses to complement the local area.
- Re-introduction of viewing galleries at the top of the Tower.
