Proposal
Proposed changes to planning permission for redevelopment of 100 Avenue Road (buildings of 5, 7 and 24 storeys to provide 184 homes, commercial and community space).
Changes include:
- provision of 236 homes in total, of which 70 will be affordable;
- change from build to rent homes to homes for sale (market housing);
- alterations to the mix of unit sizes;
- alterations to layout of the ground floor commercial space;
- alterations to layout of community space to meet the requirements of intended occupier The Winch;
- changes of external materials;
- sustainability improvements; and
- amendments to meet buildings regulations including installation of a second staircase for fire safety.
